So, one of the the foundations of good money management is knowing how much you spend and where it goes.

The three most popular spending tracking apps we see amongst our clients are the Moneysmart Budget Planner, Spendee and You Need a Budget.

So some of these require you to share your banking data transactions with them. So if privacy is a concern, obviously check the fine print about about how they manage that

data.

Or alternatively, we'd recommend using the Money Smart Budget Planner. Reason being it's a manual system, you can manually enter the data and you don't have to worry about sharing bank account details etc.

The other possible benefit as well is, as you're putting information in that might actually give you some more insight as you're entering the the data as to where your money is going.
